Kelly Clarkson Covers Think February 2012
She's gearing up to perform "Don't You Wanna Stay" alongside Jason Aldean at next weekend's Grammy Awards, and Kelly Clarkson also finds herself on the cover of the February 2012 issue of Think magazine. The 29-year-old singer is featured in a multi-page spread in which she talks about being criticized for her weight while also being complimented by Y100's Brian Mac. Highlights from Kelly's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to check out Think! On being criticized for her weight: "When people talk about my weight, I'm like, 'You have a problem with it. I don't. I'm fine!' My weight changes – sometimes I eat more, sometimes I play more." On going to the gym for herself: "I do it totally for my psyche. I'm much better when those endorphins are going. It's a release. And I also love food, so there's a payoff." Y100 Station Director Brian Mac on Kelly: "What was really nice about Kelly was how accommodating she was. Not only to radio, but to her fans. She took every last picture, did every meet-and-greet and did every bit of station business with enthusiasm. She communicated with people on their level, not as a celebrity."
