Enjoying a relaxing day together, Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban and their adorable daughters were spotted leaving the local family destination Romp in Hollywood, CA on Sunday (February 5).
The “Australia” actress toted 13-month-old daughter Faith Margaret while her “Without You” hubby tended to 3-year-old Sunday Rose.
After attending a kiddie birthday party at the indoor/outdoor play space, the little ones looked to be ready for a snooze as the family of four hopped in their vehicle and sped away.
The outing comes as Nicole has been busy putting the finishing touches on a new movie titled “The Paperboy,” as the Zac Efron co-starring caper will hit theaters later this year.

Go ahead and yell at me, but I like the occasional animal print. I know it’s trashy and tacky, but sometimes I find an animal print jacket, dress, pillow or rug to be very cute. Such is the case with this zebra-print dress that Katherine Heigl wore in Germany. It’s just the right length, just the right fit, and just the right amount of zebra. I LOVE IT. And it looks great on her figure too – very slimming, right? My only issue with this look is Dame Heigl’s hair – bitch has hair issues, and while this style is an improvement from her teased-up, white-blonde grandma style, it’s still pretty ugly.
Anyway, last week, everyone was talking about Heigl’s latest essay/blog post for iVillage. I always forget that Heigl is a “blogger” too – she writes about mom stuff, and it’s usually pretty boring for me. In last week’s post, Heigl too on that show Dance Moms and the early sexualization of young girls. Here’s part of her blog post:
I’m not much of a reality TV watcher. I tend to stick mostly to the comedies and dramas that I love, but I recently happened to catch an episode of Dance Moms and watched with open-mouthed amazement as girls as young as seven were encouraged to dress provocatively and shimmy around a stage doing a dance performance that could just as easily been a burlesque routine. I kept thinking all these girls were missing is a pole! I was also horrified by the way their instructor spoke to them when she felt they weren’t up to snuff. It was demeaning, belittling, and downright unkind.
My daughter was in the room at the time as was my mother and I kept looking over at my perfect, innocent and beautiful child wondering how can I protect her from what the world is becoming. My mother was outraged and — never one to hold back an opinion — vented that it was not even remotely necessary to speak to a child the way the dance instructor was, that no one during the course of my performing and early years as a child model and actor had ever talked to me like that. She insisted that the tough-love attitude was totally misguided and not what makes anyone succeed — and certainly not a child. She reminded me that I was loved, encouraged, and held through the journey of my career and was never demeaned, berated, or told I was not doing my best and look how well that has worked for me.
She is right, of course. My mother worked hard to build up my self-esteem, to protect it from those who did not, and made it her priority to see me grow into a young woman who had a sure and steady sense of herself that could not be torn apart. The example my mother set for me is what I hope to achieve and emulate on behalf of my own daughter. I think we all know through experience that the world gets tough enough soon enough. I strongly believe there is no reason to break anyone down in order to prepare them for inevitable disappointment or unkindness. There is no reason to diminish anyone’s self-esteem in order to get them to try harder next time. Especially not a child’s.
I believe a significant part of my role as a mother to a daughter is to shelter and build up her self-esteem. This is not to say that I will sit around and tell her she can do anything and everything and is perfect in all that she does. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and when I came home from school with a bad grade on another math test, it was apparent that algebra would never be my strong suit and my mother didn’t pretend it was. I was told I needed to pass the class but I was also told it was okay that I didn’t excel at it, that there were other things I was good at. That’s the direction I was encouraged to follow.
…It terrifies me, the amount of value we place on a woman’s looks, body, and ability to drop it like it’s hot on the dancefloor. It’s one thing to walk into a club and see twentysomethings embracing their sexuality and having some fun, but it’s another thing altogether watching seven-year-olds shake their booties, bellies, and nonexistent boobies on a stage in a room full of adults and be handed a trophy for it. What in the world are we telling them? That sexy is the prize and is the talent they have?
I used to perform in a local dance academy when I was growing up and we did jazz routines that were fun, imaginative, high energy, hip and age-appropriate! The young girls on Dance Moms are wonderfully talented, spirited ladies who should be encouraged to perform since they seem to truly have a knack for it. I just wish they were being inspired, instructed, and supported for their gifts as I was when I found my creative path. I wish they were being shown and taught by example that they are wonderful, unique and valuable for far more than their bodies, and their ability to be perfect at all times.
It didn’t seem that controversial to me – Heigl was simply coming out for more age-appropriate dance instruction for young girls, and she was drawing from her own experiences as a child performer, with her mom acting as “momager”. The whole “nurturing your child so they understand they are the most special flower in the world” is a debatable issue – I understand nurturing, I understand encouragement and being a cheerleader for your kids in a tough world. But at some age, kids do need to learn how to fail and how to get back up. And hopefully when they learn that, it’s not on the set of Dance Moms.
There’s also a vein of hypocrisy, sure – some of Heigl’s performances as a child actor were in sexualized roles, which Heigl glosses over. But seriously – Dance Moms is a horrifying show. And now the moms are really pissed off at Heigl too – they’re issuing statements and telling her to “suck it.” They’re probably just happy with the extra publicity, though.

During last night’s Superbowl we were treated to a teaser trailer for the upcoming Avengers movie, featuring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Samuel L. Jackson. This is the second trailer for the much-anticipated superhero film, which is out on May 4th. The first trailer made the move look more like a clusterf*ck than a coordinated Justice League. (I’m aware that they’re different comics/superheroes.)
They seem to have nailed down the plot in order to come with this more cohesive trailer featuring more scenes of crap getting blown up. This trailer makes the film look more interesting than it did before, but it also has a unreal video game feel that seems all too familiar and overdone. How many movies have we seen with cars exploding and rolling down the street in a wave?
Some thoughts:
They’re very cleverly focusing on all the key parts of the film: the special effects, the individual superheroes played by well known actors, their work as a team, and the pithy one-liners. My favorite part is at :50 when Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) is told by baddie Loki (Tom Hiddleston) that “We have an army” and he quips “We have a Hulk.” We then get to see Mark Ruffalo flying through the air as the most badass Hulk I’ve ever seen. Scarlet Johannson is sexy as Black Widow in that tight catsuit, but I like how they’re balancing out the talent in the film and not trying to push her as the star.
The Avengers could be a huge moneymaker for Disney and Marvel or it could be a spectacular flop. Rumor has it that it cost over $250 million to make. Look at what happened with Green Lantern. Warner Brothers really took a bath on that one. Superhero films are no longer the safest bet.
There’s news that Andrew Garfield as Spiderman is going to make a cameo as cross promotion for the new Spidey film, out this July. Can they make the movie work with this many stars? We’ll see.

She's no stranger to controversy, and M.I.A. was back to her trouble-making ways during Sunday night's (February 5) Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis.
The 36-year-old singer was performing alongside Madonna and Nicki Minaj when she suddenly decided to flip up her middle finger for the NBC cameras covering the Bridgestone sponsored halftime show.
With fines quite possibly on the way, an NBC spokesperson issued a statement immediately following the incident, as the rep remorsefully told, "We apologize for the inappropriate gesture that aired during halftime. It was a spontaneous gesture that our delay system caught late."
Placing complete blame on the television network, the NFL also commented on the family-unfriendly moment, as the league said, "There was a failure in NBC's delay system. The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing, and we apologize to our fans."

She's gearing up to perform "Don't You Wanna Stay" alongside Jason Aldean at next weekend's Grammy Awards, and Kelly Clarkson also finds herself on the cover of the February 2012 issue of Think magazine.
The 29-year-old singer is featured in a multi-page spread in which she talks about being criticized for her weight while also being complimented by Y100's Brian Mac.
Highlights from Kelly's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to check out Think!
On being criticized for her weight:
"When people talk about my weight, I'm like, 'You have a problem with it. I don't. I'm fine!' My weight changes – sometimes I eat more, sometimes I play more."
On going to the gym for herself:
"I do it totally for my psyche. I'm much better when those endorphins are going. It's a release. And I also love food, so there's a payoff."
Y100 Station Director Brian Mac on Kelly:
"What was really nice about Kelly was how accommodating she was. Not only to radio, but to her fans. She took every last picture, did every meet-and-greet and did every bit of station business with enthusiasm. She communicated with people on their level, not as a celebrity."

These are new photos of Kim Kardashian at Miami International Airport a few days ago, and in Beverly Hills over the weekend (the black shorts photos). First, can we talk about how Kim is still messing with her Kat-face? Whatever is going on with her mouth is just terrible, and it pisses me off to no end that Kim thinks we believe that she’s “natural”. It’s debatable as to whether the ass is natural – but can we all agree that her face is NOT?
Anyway, last week there was a rumor going around that Kim had been quietly dating Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. Kim denied the rumor, and she pushed this story to TMZ:
Kim Kardashian isn’t secretly dating Mark Sanchez … she’s not interested in Tim Tebow — in fact, sources tell TMZ, the reality star is completely DONE with football players in general … all thanks to Reggie Bush.
In case you haven’t heard — there were reports Kim and Mark were seeing each other on the DL whenever she was in New York. There were other rumors Kim came on to Tim Tebow because of his old-fashioned values. But we’re told … it’s all BS.
Sources close to Kim tell us, her break-up with Bush in 2010 was so rough … she has lost her taste for NFL players entirely — and has no plans to play the field in the near future.
Now that she’s moved on from NBA players too … she’s only left with baseball, hockey, soccer and golf. Hey, Tiger’s available!
[From TMZ]
See, I don’t believe this at all. I don’t think Kim “lost her taste” for football players just because of what went down with Reggie, just like I don’t believe Kim “lost her taste” for basketball players because of what went down with Kris Humphries. It’s predictably dumb for Kim (or anyone) to paint all athletes with the same stereotype, by why compartmentalize between various sports? B-ballers are fine, football players are bad, but baseball players are the best? Meh. Kim just wants someone high-profile and wealthy, I doubt she really cares who or what he does.

I’m including the highest-quality video (that I could find) of Madonna’s Super Bowl halftime performance above. Madge thinks she’s Cleopatra or something, which… sure. I mean, if you’re performing at the Super Bowl, you might as well go all out. Madge started out with “Vogue” and it didn’t sound like she was singing live, right? She went from “Vogue” into “Music”. Madonna stumbling during that song. Poor bitch, I do that all of the time.
At this point, I’m already admiring her stamina. I would have fallen over completely by this point. Anyway, after that, she was joined by the LMFAO dudes to perform “Party Rock Anthem” and “Sexy and I Know It”. She just danced there, and at various points, she just looked like an old lady I think. Anyway, after that, she did that horrible song “Give Me All Your Luvin,” with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A.
M.I.A. also gave the finger during her solo, but it didn’t go out live. I’ve grown to really dislike M.I.A., and this was just a dumb, classless move designed to steal focus. Pathetic.
Anyway, after that came Classic Madonna. I’ll sort of buy that she was actually singing for “Express Yourself” and “Like a Prayer” – because her voice sounded so much weaker during that part, right? I also liked Cee Lo Green’s inclusion – nice cross-promotion for NBC (The Voice), but they also worked well together. That was my favorite part of the show.
So, how do you think she did? I have to admit – I’m kind of impressed. I think she did well.
Oh, and here’s Kelly Clarkson singing the National Anthem. I think she did a great job, right? Her voice is so good, I don’t even mind the bangs.

He's up for multiple Academy Award trophies in just three short weeks and, as part of his press efforts, George Clooney took time to talk with Easy Living for their March 2012 issue.
Among the topics on conversation, the 50-year-old Hollywood heartthrob spoke about playing a father in "The Descendants," offered up his take on his secret to success and opined on whether he plans on retiring from acting anytime in the near future.
Highlights from Clooney's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to check out Easy Living!
On whether playing a father in "The Descendants" was difficult due to the fact that he has no children:
"I don't think it mattered – you don't have to shoot heroin to play a heroin addict. The nice thing about playing a father on screen is that you get to give the children back at the end of the day!"
On the secret to his success:
"I was in some pretty crappy TV shows when I was younger. It was only after I did 'ER' that I was finally able to get a film role. I've learned success is more to do with luck than anything else."
On whether he will ever retire from acting:
"Now I'm 50, there are fewer roles to play so hopefully I'll direct more. I want to make films that people remember."
On the best advice he's ever been given:
"My father told me never to mix grape with grain and he was right!"
On whether he thinks he'll ever win a best director Oscar:
"That's a harsh question! I have won an Academy Award [in 2006, for best supporting actor in Syriana], so when I die, I can have George Clooney, Oscar winner on my headstone. I just really want people to appreciate the work, it's not about awards."

Drawing a close to the weekend with a bit of revelry, Rihanna partied it up at Greystone Manor in West Hollywood on Sunday night (February 5).
Clad in a partially sheer black bodysuit, ripped jeans and a black Chanel cab hat, the 23-year-old hit the exits while surrounded by security personnel after the clubgoing escapade - with a source on the scene telling that the "We Found Love" singer's ex, Chris Brown, also happened to be at the Tinseltown hotspot.
The night out on the town coincided with the airing of a brand new clip from RiRi's upcoming movie "Battleship" - which was shown during Super Bowl XLVI.
Set to hit theaters on May 19th, the Peter Berg directed blockbuster finds "a fleet of ships forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals."
Along with Rihanna, the movie also stars Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch and Liam Neeson.

You know I think highly of Sharon Stone’s looks, right? It’s debatable as to whether she’s been tweaked or not, but whatever she’s doing, her face looks good. She’s a mature woman who looks great for her age. And normally, she’s a good casual dresser too. But this is maybe the worst she’s looked in YEARS. And it’s all about the outfit. This outfit would be fug on someone half Sharon’s age, and on her it’s just a catastrophe. What is the cut-off point for leather pants? And why would you pair low-slung leather pants with loafers and a cropped turtleneck? What’s especially disturbing is that this isn’t just some casual look Sharon threw on at the last minute – she was at a business lunch or something. Terrible.
Meanwhile, Sharon appears on the cover of this month’s AARP Magazine, and she talks in detail about her past health issues, including her brain hemorrhage and her miscarriages:
On her brain hemorrhage, the 53-year-old Stone explained, “I came out of the hospital with short- and long-term memory loss. My lower left leg was numb. I couldn’t hear out of my right ear. The side of my face was falling down. I thought, ‘I’ll never be pretty again. Who’s going to want to be around me?’”
Over the past dozen years, she also suffered two miscarriages, which led her and Bronstein to adopt Roan, now 11. “The last time I lost the baby, I went into 36 hours of labor. While we were at the hospital, our adoption attorney called. I thought, ‘This is such a godsend. This is so right.’ I always thought I would adopt. Even when I was young, I used to look up how to adopt.”
A bitter divorce from Bronstein in 2004, however, delivered another blow when Stone lost a custody battle for Roan.
But out of it came her choice to adopt her two more boys; Laird, 6, and Quinn, 5. Stone gushed, “I’m loving raising my kids. Quinn is in junior kindergarten, and he’s very exclamatory! Like a little FBI agent, he tells you everything that’s happening, so I call him Agent Quinn. ‘Mom! Toots pooped in the yard!’ ‘Thank you, Agent Quinn.’ I’ve made humanitarian causes and my children much more my priority than the Hollywood scene, being liked and getting movie parts.”
[From Extra]
I had totally forgotten that Sharon lost custody of her oldest son. That’s sad.
Oh, and Sharon just signed on for a new movie called Attachment. She plays a mother of a teenager – the mother has an affair with a college student (a boy) and the boy starts dating the daughter and then terrorizing the family. I don’t even know. It sounds like a gender-reversed version of the Alicia Silverstone movie, The Crush. I LOVE that movie.

Katy Perry continued her reemergence into the post-Russell Brand limelight by performing a mini-concert at the DirectTV Super Saturday Night ahead of Super Bowl XLVI. You can see photos from the event here, but for now, we’re stuck with the above photo of her ducking through LAX in mid-January while attempting to go incognito. With blue hair.
Of course, Katy’s already done her first (semi-sympathetic) red-carpet appearance, but she seemed to have a lot more fun at the DirectTV event. During the musical set, Katy alluded to the rumors of having a crush on Tim Tebow (the Broncos quarterback and anti-sex symbol who refuses to take off his pants for a Jockey underwear campaign) by giving him a shoutout:
She scores!
Katy Perry performed her first U.S. concert since splitting from hubby Russell Brand in Indianapolis, Ind., Saturday night, delivering a party-starting nine-song set for guests at Mark Cuban’s DIRECTV Super Saturday Night party.
And the pop star seemed to have Super Bowl fever: Sporting a glittery, football-themed top and high-cut grey spandex shorts, Perry kicked off the show at 11:45 p.m. by bursting through a banner emblazoned with her name, just like a hometown gridiron hero.
“Who else is excited for Madonna?” she asked later on, referring to Queen of Pop’s Sunday halftime show. “That’s the only reason that I came!” (Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes, was spotted at Perry’s concert.)
Perry, 27, made no references to Brand, 36, throughout the set, but she did jokingly give a shout out to one special fellow who was on her mind. “This one goes out to Tim Tebow,” she said, before launching into her single “Peacock.”
Post-show, Perry partied with her pals in a roped-off area in the center of the room. Says an insider, “She was having the best time and was in such a great mood.”
[From People]
Naturally, People takes special care to characterize Katy’s dedication as “jokingly” delivered (Us Weekly further reveals that Katy added, “Hi, Tim. My parents say, ‘Hi’“), but I’m not so sure if her words were completely said in jest. In some strange way, I think that Katy would truly go there if Tim was into it. Just look at the song she dedicated to him! Here are some of the highly illustrious lyrics from “Peacock”:
I wanna see you peacock, c*ck, c*ck
You peacock, c*ck
You peacock, c*ck, c*ck
You peacock
I wanna see you peacock, c*ck, c*ckAre you brave enough to let me see you peacock?
Don’t be a chicken boy, stop acting like a biatch
I’m a peace out if you don’t give me the pay off
Come on baby let me see
Whatchu hidin’ underneath
Are you brave enough to let me see you peacock?
Whatchu waiting for, it’s time for you to show it off
Don’t be a shy kinda guy I’ll bet it’s beautifulOh my God no exaggeration
Boy all this time was worth the waiting
I just shed a tear
I am so unprepared
You got the finest architecture
End of the rainbow looking treasure
Such a sight to see
And it’s all for me
[From Perry's "Peacock" via YouTube]
It’s not exactly “Firecracker,” right? Katy basically dedicated a song to Tim that says she wants to be the first one to get into his pants. While Tim wasn’t present at the event, I imagine this would have been his immediate reaction to the tribute:
Not that Katy is tying herself down to any one potential flirtmate. While handing the Rookie of the Year award to Cam Newton, she reportedly stated “You’ll be the first straight man I’ve had a photo with in a long time, so live up to it.” Still, I maintain that Katy would totally be down with the idea of Tim even though I know that many of you wouldn’t agree. Hey, we’ve already discussed how Kim Kardashian wants to date him because she basically thinks it would repair her image. After that story came out, Kim even went so far as to transparently claim she wants to start a Bible study group for the cause. Like it or not, the dude is a hot commodity for a certain species of recently and quickly divorced starlets.
Meanwhile, Tebow finds himself with no shortage of lovely ladies with whom to chat, and Page Six reports that he was the prime target for many females at an ESPN party on Friday evening. He particularly seemed taken by the presence of Maria Menounos:
Tim Tebow was the center of attention for all the women at ESPN the Magazine’s Next party in Indianapolis on Friday night. Hordes of cocktail-dress-clad ladies surrounded the Denver Bronco quarterback, angling for a personal kneeling session. But it was “Extra” host Maria Menounos who seemed to command his attention. While Tebow politely chatted with many of the girls, one source told us that “he only seemed to have eyes” for brunette beauty Menounos, who was spotted “chatting to Tebow for over an hour. It looked quite flirtatious. They were taking pictures Tebowing together.” The two, along with a big group of friends, were the last to leave well after 2 a.m.
[From Page Six]
Interesting tidbit there, for now Tebow has shown public interest not only in spending time with a lady but also in keeping a very late bedtime as well. Perhaps he’s human after all? Although I’m not sure whether Maria is technically available for the taking since she’s been reportedly been dating director Kevin Undergaro for the past decade and has been photographed with him as recently as late December during a romantic holiday getaway. Maria has also claimed to not be in any huge hurry to wed or make babies — she even claimed to have frozen her eggs just in case she waits too long. Well, at least we know Tebow (sort of) has a type.
Incidentally, Maria was also one of the participants at Saturday’s DirectTV Celebrity Beach Bowl where she was tackled by Snoop Dogg during a game of touch football. Although there were no reported injuries as a result of the tackle, Maria likely sustained a contact high, thereby tainting herself and (presumably) rendering herself ineligible as a future Bride of Tebow. Dang.

These are some new photos of Rooney Mara at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival over the weekend, where she won the “Virtuoso” Award for her work in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Rooney wore this lovely green Louis Vuitton dress and matching coat for the occasion. I whole-heartedly approve of this look on her, and I can finally see why she gets (too many) comparisons to Audrey Hepburn. This is the kind of look that petite, small-chested girls can really pull off beautifully – the fitted, high-necked top with the architectural, puffy skirt. Plus, Rooney finally found a color that looks beautiful on her – some people look sickly in green, but Rooney finally “pops”.
Rooney is still out and about, promoting The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo internationally – she was just in Japan last week. Part of her recent appearances could be construed as an effort towards her Oscar campaign – remember, she’s up for Best Actress along with Meryl Streep and Viola Davis. Most critics/Oscar watchers think Best Actress is just that two-woman race between Meryl and Viola, with Glenn Close, Rooney and Michelle Williams not even figuring into it that much. But if there was going to be a spoiler, would it be Rooney? Or would it be Michelle? I suspect Michelle has the better shot. I also suspect that Rooney isn’t going to have a full-blown Oscar campaign. Partly because she’s so “over” the Hollywood thing (FOR REAL, she’s so hardcore, y’all) and partly because I’m guessing the studio doesn’t want to spend the money, maybe.
Maybe I would feel differently about Rooney’s Oscar nomination if I didn’t think she was such a brat. Maybe I feel differently about her as a person if she was really wowing me with her style. But isn’t she just an underwhelming person in total? Still, I love this Louis Vuitton on her. I hope she wears a good color for the Oscars.

Daniel Radcliffe hasn’t had an alcoholic beverage since August 2010. He spoke about his alcoholism last year, while he was promoting the last Harry Potter film. While I respected Daniel’s decision to stop boozing, I also had some doubt as to whether Daniel was really an alcoholic, or whether he was just a kid who liked to drink and who hadn’t found his limit, you know? I think there’s a difference between “a kid who can’t hold his s–t together while wasted” and “alcoholism”. But that was before I knew this – Daniel’s boozing was so bad at one point, he was “still drunk” while he worked on Harry Potter. Oh, DanRad. That’s a bad sign.
We’d like to buy a trend. Less than a week after Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak admitted to being drunk at work, news of another celebrity who has revealed that he, too, was under the influence in front of the camera, is making the rounds.
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe tells the British celebrity magazine Heat that he went to work on the set while drunk.
But unlike Sajak’s lighthearted account of margaritas with Vanna White on filming breaks, Radcliffe, 22, shares a darker experience.
“I went into work still drunk,” he tells the magazine. “I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone. Dead behind the eyes. I have a very addictive personality. It was a problem.”
Stressing that he didn’t drink at work, Radcliffe adds that, “People with problems like that are very adept at hiding it. It was bad. I drank a lot and it was … nightly.”
The actor has said that he no longer drinks. “You either have to change something,” he tells Heat, “or give into that shame.
[From People]
Ah, so he wasn’t “drinking at work,” he just showed up to work still drunk. You know what this reminds me of? All of those stories about Richard Burton and Peter O’Toole and all of those actors from another generation who not only showed up to work still drunk from the night before, but continued to drink throughout the day. Like, they would never NOT be wasted. Would their performances have been better without the booze? I don’t know. But I’m glad Daniel is talking about this stuff so openly, and I’m beginning to think that he did probably have a problem.
By the way, Daniel’s new film, The Woman In Black, came close to being the number one film at this weekend’s box office. It made $21 million, and that means that DanRad can still make movies beyond the Harry Potter franchise. Sober! (Sidenote: I can’t even watch the ads for The Woman In Black! I hate scary movies so much.)

Getting an early start to the work week, Katherine Heigl resumed her overseas press tour with a visit to Berlin, Germany on Monday (February 6).
The former "Grey's Anatomy" actress donned a one-shoulder zebra print dress as she worked the arrivals area at Hotel de Rome during a photocall session for her new movie "One for the Money".
While the Stephanie Plum based motion picture hit theaters in the States a week and a half ago, it's scheduled to make its German debut on April 19th.
Meanwhile, Katherine continues to land roles with ease - as it was just reported that she's set to star in and co-produce "an independent thriller about a psychologist struck with a rare affliction that makes it impossible to distinguish people by their faces" aptly titled "Face Blind".
With Maven Pictures’ partners Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray also taking on producer roles, the film is scripted by Dominic Harari and Teresa De Pelegri.

Her new film "Wanderlust" makes its way into theaters on February 24th, and as part of her press efforts Jennifer Aniston offered up her star power for the March 2012 cover issue of InStyle.
The soon-to-be 43-year-old struck enchanting poses for the Michelangelo Di Battista shot magazine's dual covers while dishing on topics ranging from misconceptions about her and her obsession with 'laser porn' to her hunky boyfriend, Justin Theroux.
Highlights from Miss Aniston's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to visit InStyle!
On her culinary skills:
"I'd love to say I'm an accomplished cook, but I don't have any signature dishes. I'm good at breakfast - I make great eggs. My father gave me a little recipe. It's all in the seasoning. But it's a Greek secret. I won't give it away!"
On the most annoying misconception about her:
"Which one? There are so many. I would say the triangle with my ex-husband - and that there's a feud there. It's constant. It's a story headline that won't go away, but it's a money thing - [people make money off] a story that has nothing to do with reality."
On her favorite thing about boyfriend Justin Theroux's style:
"First of all, he has great style - it's very specific, and it has been his style forever. Has it influenced mine? No, but I know people say it has.'Oh, look, you're dressing alike.' And I think, no I'm not. I've had this jacket for three years!"
On what career she'd pick if she had to change:
"Directing. I was very proud of producing and directing for the beautiful project 'Five.' Or I'd love to be a dermatologist. I'd be so obsessive about it. I'm fascinated by skin, products, and lasers. I go on the Internet and read all about it. I call it 'laser porn.'"
On the biggest risk she's taken in life:
"I'm not sure. Just walking out of the house can be a risk!"

Ooooh, this is a good not-so-blind item. LeAnn Rimes tweeted yesterday that she had “minor surgery” and she’s currently in a lot of pain. What did she have done?!?! The Mail has new photos of LeAnn here – her face is partially in shadow, but it doesn’t look puffy or anything, so I’m guessing she didn’t get a nose job. I’m also guessing she didn’t get her lips done, or any kind of facelift or something major like that. So what was it?
When you’re feeling down and out, there’s nothing like feeling the sand beneath your toes to make you feel better. That’s exactly what LeAnn Rimes thought as she headed to Malibu after undergoing surgery on her face.
The singer revealed on Twitter she had had an operation, but didn’t go into detail, just saying the procedure was minor. She was spotted on the balcony of a beach house in a string bikini, enjoying the scorching rays.
The stylish two piece – one of the many in her collection – featured a pink, purple and white paisley design and she paired the number with a blue and white trucker hat. A loyal friend was seen lathering sunblock on the 29-year-old’s back. She later covered up in a white kaftan as she enjoyed a cold beverage.
The How Do I Live singer told her 241,000 Twitter followers earlier: ‘K, coming clean….I had minor surgery this week and I’ve been in SO much pain it’s not even funny. Nothing major just annoying! Pain pain go away!!!!!! When it’s mouth pain and jaw pain it makes your whole head pound! YUCK’
She later revealed she had had ‘facial surgery’ and joked to a friend ‘Lol that makes it sound like I got work done. You are gonna start some rumors’.
LeAnn added: ‘The pain is subsiding finally for a moment. My head has been vibrating all day. Maybe the sand under my feet is helping.’
[From The Mail]
My two best guess are something tweaked on her boobs or some kind of eye surgery (de-squintification?) because her sunglasses seem comically oversized and in the one photo where you can see her eyes clearly, her eyes do look slightly bruised. LeAnn had her boobs done more than a year ago, and considering how bad and lopsided they looked, I wouldn’t blame her at all for going in and trying to fix them. But she’s wearing a bikini top in those photos – so I’m really thinking she got some kind of eye work.

Don’t even ask me what Miley Cyrus is wearing. I have no idea. At first I was going to claim that this kind of ensemble was popular when I was a kid, but I don’t even think I can justify it as “dated”. These are some of the ugliest cutoffs I’ve ever seen, and Miley has paired them with a bustier, a flannel shirt (unbuttoned) and a pair of cowboy boots. Dear God. She really has no casual style. I’m guessing that the fug shorts might be medical, though – Miley recently “cracked” her tailbone – no joke – “doing a front flip onto the couch.” I don’t even know.
In other Miley news, she wrote an essay for Glamour Mag all about her “All LOVE is equal” tattoo, and why she’s all for gay marriage. She’s talked about her support of gay marriage before, but still – I respect her for sticking with a cause, and for whole-heartedly supporting an issue that’s seen as so “controversial”. Here’s her essay:
Imagine finding someone you love more than anything in the world, who you would risk your life for but couldn’t marry. And you couldn’t have that special day the way your friends do—you know, wear the ring on your finger and have it mean the same thing as everybody else. Just put yourself in that person’s shoes. It makes me feel sick to my stomach.
When I shared a picture of my tattoo on my Twitter page and said, “All LOVE is equal,” a lot of people mocked me—they said, “What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!” And I said, “Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.” The debate resulted in a lot of threats and hate mail to people who agreed and disagreed with me. At one point I had to say, “Dude, everyone lay off.”
Can’t people have friendly debates about sensitive topics without it turning into unnecessary threats?
I believe every American should be allowed the same rights and civil liberties. Without legalized same-sex marriage, most of the time you cannot share the same health benefits, you are not considered next of kin and you are not granted the same securities as a heterosexual couple. How is this different than having someone sit in the back of the bus because of their skin color?
One day I read online about the head of Urban Outfitters donating to a presidential candidate who does not support equality for everyone. I was shocked and disappointed that a company with such diversity would exclude such a large group of people. I can no longer bring myself to shop there.
We all should be tolerant of one another and embrace our differences. My dad [country singer Billy Ray Cyrus], who is a real man’s man, lives on the farm and is as Southern and straight as they come. He loves my gay friends and even supports same-sex marriage. If my father can do it, anyone can.
This is America, the nation of dreams. We’re so proud of that. And yet certain people are excluded. It’s just not right.
It’s not particularly well-reasoned and it’s not some overwhelming political treatise, but Miley’s still out there and talking about it. I’ve really grown to like her more and more over the past year – her political conscience is growing, and she’s so much more low-key. I hope she keeps it up. I also hope she burns these cutoffs in a spiritually cleansing fire.
